If Nothing Else, REad This.
Child's Play 3 looks, feels and sounds like a good Disney Channel original movie, which, incredibly, works. Add in some creatively evil death scenes, everyone's favorite voodoo-serial-killer-ghost trapped in a ginger doll, and what you have is, in this reviewer's humble opinion, the best Chucky film so far.
Child's Play 3 feels like a Disney Channel Original movie. The cinematography, the acting, even the score reminds me of the old 90's classics. And, surprisingly, it suits the Chucky films quite well. Watch it and you'll know what I mean.
While "good" might be a stretch, Child's Play 3 is my favorite installment in the Chucky series. It has the best aspects of the early film, while managing not to tumble into the abortion that is Bride of Chucky. If you watch none of the other Chucky movies, at the very least watch this one.
